We took a walk at a local park last evening. They have had to cut down a lot of trees lately because of disease. Instead of wasting the wood, they have been trying to recycle it, like making this entryway to the trail.
You can even see the markings that the Emerald Ash Borer left.
Driving into the park.
We saw this little guy in the road. Don’t worry he ran away.
On the trial we found a lot of flowers, which were weeds, but still pretty.
Honeysuckle was everywhere!
We had a great time walking the trial as a family, talking about our day and enjoying nature around us.
